It's the NEW YEAR and were so impressed with the growth of Dottie's and the support from our community. Our plans for the winter involve some serious improvements to our little cafe. Firstly, we will be beefing up our kitchen equipment. Since day one we have been working with very little in our pint sized kitchen. In the new year we will be adding a cook top with a venting system, a commercial Panini Press and a big fancy rotating toaster. This will allow us to make more food and much faster. We will be making some front of the house additions as well.

We plan to replace all the tables in the front of the house with smaller, bistro style tables. Although we love the look of our antiqued tables, they are too bulky. Adding smaller tables will allow more room for dining for our guests. The merchandise section will be converted into a computer station. There will be additional outlets and an improved computer signal in that area. The changes in the front and back of the house will allow Dottie's to grow even more, and come summer, an outdoor dining section will be added to the north side of our shop! We're very excited for that!
