For the month of January there will be a few changes going on at Dottie's First of all Keri, the lady who really makes it happen in the Sandwich Dept at Dottie's will be in Vermont recording an album with her band, Over the Mountain. She will return at the beginning of February. In the mean time we are getting a little help from our friend, Warren. Warren who is really a Jack of all trades, has been a constant at Brix Wine Bar since the summer when he started bussing and running food. We are greatful to have him for January and hope that you all take a moment to introduce yourselves. Aslo in reguards to the kitchen, Matt Lamb has returned for the long haul! We are so happy to have him all to ourselves! So stop on by and say hello!
Dinner @ Dottie's returns this winter! We will be hosting dinner every other Sunday starting January 4th. This dinner series is called Big Daddy Dinners: Serving comfort food with a whole lotta' love. All dinners will require a reservations and menus can be viewed weekly on the Dinner Party section of the website or at the counter in the cafe.
Also, Sheilaa Hite, our resident Psychic will be with us the first Saturday of each month starting in February. See what 2009 has in store for you by making an appointment by calling 413 443 1792 or in person at Dottie's. Every reading will come with a hot beverage of your choice!
Beginning January 10th, we will be featuring a new bakery in Pittsfield called Tutti in our pastry case. As an introduction to downtown they will be doing all of our baked goods for the month of January, including muffins, scones, cookies and sweetbreads. Please let us know what you think by leaving us a note in our suggestion box, in front of the Espresso Machine. Also, be informed that Cakewalk Bakery, our usual bakery, will be closed for the month of January, which is why we have this great opportunity to showcase Tutti.
