10X10 Chairity: Take a Seat!

Dottie’s Coffee Lounge invited more than 10 local artists to use their creative genius and recycle chairs no longer being used in the Lounge. The only instruction was to take the chairs and bring them back in another form.

Opening reception, February 17th from 5-8PM . A silent auction, in keeping with the 10x10 theme, will start with an opening bid of $50 and increase in $10 increments, with proceeds going to the Pittsfield Education Fund (PEF).
Come meet the artists and hear about their inspiration.

Closing reception, as part of Pittsfield’ s First Fridays festivities, on Friday March 3 when the silent auction will end at 8 PM.

Artists working in all mediums are represented in this fantastic and diversified show.

Free refreshments and beer and wine available for purchase.

Proceeds from the Chairity will go to the Pittsfield Education Foundation (PEF) whose mission is to enrich the achievement and success of the children and teachers in the Pittsfield Public School by promoting innovative educational opportunities that impact greater literacy in Science, Technology, English, Arts and Math. The vision of PEF is to promote before and after school programs, collaborations among educators and others that do not currently exist in our schools.
