The first week-end of the Pittsfield City Jazz Festival https://berkshiresjazz.org/ is collectively known as “Jazz About Town” featuring local artists, and Dorothy’s is thrilled to kick-off the event on Thursday, April 24, with an old fashioned open jam session with a “house trio.” The jam session will have a house rhythm section with a house trio consisting of Dave Bartley - piano, Pete Toigo - bass, and Tom Parker- drums, with rotating local artists, and is curated and refereed by Dave Bartley. The rhythm section will kick off the evening with one set, and then will open the stage for anyone wishing to jam or sit in on some jazz material.  Dave will referee and call players up from a sign up sheet. Bring your horn, guitar, voice, or sit in on drums, keyboard or bass. Vocalists please bring charts in your key!  The jam runs from 7 to 10pm

We are open: Monday-Friday, 7am-2pm, Saturday and Sunday, 8am-2pm Open holidays at 8am and closed Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day and New Year's Day dinner served Friday and Saturday 5-9p

Menu Mon-Sat (early bird till 10a, regular 10-2p) Sunday Brunch menu, 9-2p coffee & cash bar, indoor, Doordash and takeout service available till closing at 2.
